A young adult supernatural novel by Kimberly J. Ziegler
Out November 8, 2026
The Winter Solstice is a time to honor what is coming to an end—and what is quietly waiting to be born.
On the other side of the Earth, the Guardians of Alcazar protect the celestial babes destined to be born into the world. Meanwhile, the Watchers of Abaddon keep vigil over the souls who pass into the Heavens and Hells, ensuring that every ending finds its place.
Ever hasn’t always understood his duty as a Guardian. All he knows is his love for Elowen—a girl born on Earth with a destiny neither of them can understand.
When Obi encounters Elowen’s path, he knows there is something within her that has yet to awaken. Something that could change everything they know about life, death, and the worlds beyond.
As ancient boundaries begin to blur, the Guardians and Watchers use their elemental powers to confront the mystery surrounding Elowen’s fate. But what if her future is something that will change them all?
